《About Sport Academy Belgrade》
Sports Academy Belgrade is college of Sports. Sports Academy Belgrade was founded in 1996. Founders: Olympic Committee of Serbia, City of Belgrade, JSD “Partizan”, SD “Crvena zvezda” and Leon Lukman(Olympian of Rome Olympic in 1960). Sports Academy Belgrade provide to students higher sport education. Until in 2020, over 2000 students have graduate this academy. In 2004, Inter national committee acknowledged to the academy reference institution.
In 2006, IOC included the Sports Academy in the world’s top ten list of schools offering training and specialization of coaches. This is an indicator of a high evaluation of our educational activities and degrees abroad. Also, the academy is member of association of sport performance centers and European association institution in higher education. In 2021,World Taekwondo Association set up Sport Academy Belgrade for regional center of education and license staffs. This is evaluated for Dragan Jovic(coach and lecture of the academy)
《Experience of cooperate》
In 2014, the Sports Academy signed a cooperation agreement with the Tesla Science Evolution Institute and Quantum Beauty Co. (Adelaide, Australia). This cooperation relates to the development of projects and publications in the field of sports techniques and recovery in sport. So far two projects have been realized, which has resulted in publishing three books in English and six papers.
In cooperation with the National Academy in Sofia and Professor Cvetan Željaskov, the Academy issued a textbook entitled Physical Conditioning of Elite Athletes in 2006.
Since 2005, the Sports Academy has established cooperation with the following Russian basketball clubs: Khimki (Moscow), Unics (Kazan), and Lokomotiv (Rostov).
Since 2012, the Academy has been cooperating with Fenerbahçe (Istanbul, Turkey) as well. The cooperation has been based on the exchange of professional and practical knowledge between Sports Academy professors and the clubs’ professional staff, and on our experts’ professional performance in these clubs.
Since 2021, The Academy has made partnership with Allowing LLC(Japan, Saitama)
《Program of Education for the academy》
The Sports Academy realizes the study programs of undergraduate vocational studies Sport and Sports Recreation (3 years – 6 semesters, 180 ECTS credits).
Graduates of the undergraduate vocational studies Sport and Sports Recreation possess theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of sport and sports recreation, and have trained few menus. The title acquired upon graduation is bachelor degree for Sport coaching. Also you can get UEFA C license(Football) and FIBA Red license(level 2 for Basketball)etc… You are able to get highest national license of other sport which is depends of which sport you choose.
